after walking almost 40km in 27 degrees, the place of this beauty was almost too good to be true! we were in great need of a seat and a high ice cold pint! beautiful pub inside and outside and clearly loved by the natives, but two sips in our pint we were asked to move away from the pub and into a terrace room, since the table we sat on was actually booked and the diner waited. not the end of the world natural and the table we moved was on a beautiful terrace place, very nice, but where we were quite upset when we had to carry our drinks and snacks and hiking kit ourselves, over the parking space and the terrace levels on our own. at this point was the fault on the waiter, not how good the s...

Any pub that has individual toilets means you're on to a winner. We had a great meal here. The menu is a solid entry which includes many pub favourites alongside some quirky items. The staff were great, very accomodating and friendly. They were somewhat humorous also, adding to the vibe of the afternoon. A very charming location, it has great outside space and I think it offers rooms too may be mistaken. Overall, a great visit for us and one which I'd like to repeat in my lifetime.

The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. While it's not the cheapest option, the wine selection is lovely, especially if you steer clear of the least expensive bottle. The rooms in the buildings across from the main pub are more attractive, so it's worth paying a bit extra for a better experience. The breakfast was good as well.

While taking a walk around Tollard Royal on a Saturday afternoon, we enjoyed a good, reasonably priced beer. We sat outside on the impressive terrace, which is situated on the hillside overlooking the parking lot, soaking up the sunshine as we had our lunch. We would definitely return to this lovely spot.
