My wife and I went to brick lane to get food and stumbled upon a craft beer store called Kill the Cat. We stayed for a couple of beers and when it was time to close, the bartenders offered to join them here. We loved...this place. They promised an authentic London pub and this place did not disappoint. I have never seen wall to wall carpeting at a pub so this was definitely something new. The best part was there was this cute cat that was the local pub cat. We stayed for hours until they had to kick us out. One of my favorite memories of London.

Called in last night for the first time since lock-down, and was no disappointed. Really sad to hear of the death of Lenny long may he reign in **** cat heaven. The Brewers Gold was off, but that was due to a chiller fault...during the recent really hot weather. This pub does not change, and long may it continue to be so. A great pub, great beer, great atmosphere and really friendly staff. If only all pubs were like this......

Hey ! What a find !! Our first time staying in the east end and thought we may struggle to find pubs as close to brick lane ! What an absolute gem of a place. Regulars and staff all so welcoming and friendly. Really felt...part of a big happy family . Guiness and lager perfect … would definitely hope to return one day . Well done to the owners of this delightful wee boozer !!

This is a lovely pub and very small so why do you insist on having the music on so loud. Honestly its impossible to hold a conversation at a normal level. Last night exhausted at having to shout at each other me and my friend...gave up and left. Would of happily stayed longer but just couldn't be bothered. Why do you do this. Its ruining a lovely old pub. Book a table now

Tucked away just up a side street off Brick Lane, this unspoilt East End gem is well worth seeking out. It has a very lively and friendly atmosphere, very well run with a small range of well kept beers. At busy times expect to stand,...but don't let this put you off. This is most definitely a drinking pub, not a food pub, and all the better for it!

A small east end pub. Good service and good beer (I like the Doom Bar personally) Ideal for a few pints before finishing the evening with a Brick Lane curry.
