This is my go-to drink spot in Exeter. They always have a great and diverse selection of beers from both local and non-local breweries, ranging from zesty pale ales to rich stouts. The prices are reasonable for the high quality of the products, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. I'm confident that they will continue to thrive and grow in popularity.
I often have a problem with some of these artisanal ale micro pubs as they serve on similar (actually citra hoppy smack you around the headberries I love, but not always want to drink each time) beers. No problem. A wide range of styles that are always available served with a friendly chat. It is a great find and despite being small, you can always be crushed.
A fantastic addition to the ever better beer scene in the city. Whether real ale or craftsmanship, this bar includes in a cozy and welcoming environment. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the offer of beers is incredible. Not beer drinkers are very welcome and well maintained.
This restaurant is incredible. I wish there were more places like it. It is one of the best craft beer venues, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who are passionate about their business. If you have the chance, definitely go visit. If not, make plans to go soon!
