The following day, on October 14, 2022, my service animal and I entered the store. I was the fourth person in line, waiting patiently. The acting manager, Brittney, came to the counter and abruptly stated that dogs were not allowed in the store and that I would have to leave. She should have approached me to assess the situation and politely asked to speak with me. Instead, she remained behind the counter and eventually tried to apologize for her mistake. My service dog, Kasper, is always leashed and under my control while he is working. Brittney then pulled me out of line to discuss the situation and took my order, which I had to pay for. The staff at this location are unfortunately quite incompetent, which really ruins the experience. It took three employees to get a honey glazed donut, and they seem like they haven't been properly trained. There are plenty of staff members, but instead of helping customers in line, they're just chatting with each other. One time, I ordered a donut and a tea. I paid, and while the lady made my drink, she went on break after making a few more drinks. I was left standing there waiting for my donut and eventually had to signal another employee to help me. I would not recommend this Tim Hortons.
I had to wait 10 minutes for a coffee and a donut simply because no one in the store seemed willing to take my order. The staff just stared at me and continued to move around, which felt incredibly disrespectful. This experience reflects a serious level of racial bias. It's clear that this location is not representing the franchise appropriately, and I believe it warrants serious attention. I arrived at the Tim Hortons at 3:50 PM, and there were no other customers waiting—yet I felt completely ignored.
I visit this restaurant frequently since I live in Bowden and it's conveniently located. Unfortunately, about 70% of the time, they get my order wrong. I'm not sure if they struggle to hear through the speaker, but they also don’t confirm that my order is correct before asking me to drive up. This could be easily resolved if they paid more attention. Book a table now
