Honestly, they are not what I expected, the meat is completely minced, unthreaded, the cakes originally go with the carnitas chopped into small pieces, another point against is that they serve them with yellow lemon which tastes horrible with Mexican food, when I asked for green lemon The employees answered me no because it was expensive and no one had complained. I felt they were unfriendly. I lived in Guadalajara for more than 30 years so I know what I'm talking about.
Most of my family is from Guadalajara I personally never had an authentic torta from Guadalajara, Jalisco. So I brought my dad to try this place with me and LOVED it the torta are amazing with all that sauce soaking in. Mmmmm my father said this was a place that makes you feel like you are eating in Guadalajara. I Recommend this place 100
Nothing to do with Jalisco drowned cake, only the good bolillo, the beans and the spice, the very bad meat, no carnitas flavor, and the horrible sauce, like it's been made for days and has no flavor, it lacks quality.
The food and the salsas are incredibly yummy! We ordered tacos de carne asada, carnitas, and a torta de salchicha. I wish I had pictures to show, but the food disappeared while it was still steaming.
