This is NOT your typical NC Mexican restaurant where all the food tastes the same no matter the owner or location! Totopos and their sister restaurant Viva DF are locally owned and operated with an executive chef who has taken the time to select the highest quality ingredients to create or recreate authentic metropolitan dishes from around Mexico. The food is absolutely incredible! The chicken tenga tamales served in limited numbers on a first come, first served, basis on Tuesdays are certainly worth the visit. These tamales are monsters! Love this place, service, food and drink menu are fantastic! Sergio was our server and he was prompt and courteous. Can't wait to come back again.
Excellent food and service! The Plato Gordo is the best. Biri (our server) was very attentive and prompt. I have found my new favorite restaurant!
Everything Is so delicious. Cocktails top notch. GF options for me which is great! Specials are always incredible too.
