The restaurant's website doesn't show up in many search results, and despite their claims, it seems that not many people are aware of it. Tower 42, located in a prominent building in the City of London—visible from the iconic Gherkin—offers a restaurant and cocktail bar on its top floor. The tables are set right by floor-to-ceiling windows, providing fantastic views, especially to the southwest at sunset. The food is nothing extraordinary and, naturally, it carries a hefty price tag. However, the cocktails are relatively inexpensive for London, and the stunning views make it well worth a visit. The restaurant has somewhat limited operating hours, so reservations are recommended.
