In an area filled with nice pubs and bars this is my favourite. It's cosy and friendly with a really good selection of drinks, and lots of stuff to do like board games and consoles. Very dog friendly (as long as they get on with resident pub dog Boo) and run by a lovely family. Not one for a mad night of dancing, but it's a lovely hangout. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5
Possibly the best micro pub in liverpool. Great atmosphere, staff and lovely locals. boo the resident dog is a star. Love the quiz night despite not knowing much myself my amazing team make the evening a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Everyone here just gets along. Best pub on south road. This is a great and welcoming spot to sample unique beers in a nice environment. The staff is very friendly. During my last couple of visits, there was a vibrant after-work crowd. Price per person: £10–20, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 4.

One of the best pubs on South Road, if not the best! Ed and Eve are fantastic hosts. It's a dog-friendly spot, and it's always a joy to be greeted by Boo.
