Swedish angle to a good menu. Starters were good but a little expensive for what they were. Mains were the best course of the evening. My venison was exceptional. Desert was the weakest dishes of the evening. Small but well chosen wine list, though again a little pricey. Service was engaging and the room comfortable. Overall a recommendation and difficult to beat anywhere in Wargrave, Henley or Twyford.
a fabulous restaurant in the middle of the sleepy wargrave. the menu is not extensive, but what is on it is delicious. we chose venison with veg and chicken breast with gnocchi and mushrooms. both dishes were cooked to perfection. the waitress was very attentive, friendly and friendly. and it is always a nice note when the waiter comes out to say hello and to measure her clientele. highly recommended!
The food was good, but we were surprised to have booked on a Tapas only evening. There wasn't mention of this on the website (or we missed it). We were also unlucky in that they had not had scheduled deliveries, so we're short on most drinks. Finally, although the food was good, the tapas portions were very small.
Another wonderful evening at Weir Grove, my husband and I always have such a great time here. Delicious and beautifully presented food. Friendly knowledgeable waiter and a lovely atmosphere. I can't recommend this place enough. Book a table now
The restaurant is very intimate with a welcoming atmosphere, serving exceptional food with excellent service. Convenient parking is available nearby. We will definitely be returning in the future.
The food at this restaurant was outstanding, offering excellent value for money. The wine selection was delightful. The attentive staff and great atmosphere made for a very enjoyable evening.
