White Oaks Restaurant

Went there for our anniversary, and about halfway through our meal noticed there was a dead mouse on the ground right next to our table. Told them we lost our appetite at that point, leaving half our steak on our plates. It took 20 minutes to get the mouse removed. No effort to rectify the situationI guess that’s what you get for not causing a scene. We certainly understand that things happen, but felt like this situation wasn’t handled very well. Edit 10/10/23 through correspondence they have issued me a credit, which is appreciated.

Outstanding food and service. Our party of four were seated next to the window overlooking the terrace. The waiter was informative and engaging, which helped make it fun. Our drinks were all mixed to perfection. Escargot was breathtakingly good. Main courses (Beef Wellington, Pork Tenderloin and Filet Mignon) were absolutely delicious. Creme Brulee was among the best I've ever had. Reasonbly priced for quality food. We will be back....sooner than later.

This place is a gem ftom the past. Many menu items are “old school” by today’s standards, (when was the last time you found Beef Wellington on a menu? but the preparation and presentation is absolutely outstanding! Their bar knows how to make a great cocktail and they have a great wine list too. The service is excellent. Recommend the window tables, as there’s a view of a ravine, complete with flora and fauna. Food: 5
