As an appetizer, I was served an excellent sepia tube filled with Chinese vegetables and rice. - very tasty!The Chef presented variety of beefs available: likel T-bone steak , American bison, local Allgäu beef, and Kobe dry-aged. I chose the Kobe. Priced at 59€, which sounded reasonable.The presentation of the main dish was excellent, accompanied with a "Vital Salad" (my choice). The Kobe was outstanding, tender and deliciously from beginning to end. Wow! Honestly, this place was pretty good. 20-30Euros for a steak seems a bit high, but I can deal with that. However, not having an English menu or anyone that speaks English to explain what I'm ordering was a bit tough to navigate. However, the food that I ended up ordering (even though it wasn't what I thought) was really good. The atmosphere in the place is excellent and gives a true Bavarian feel. The chef was very friendly and even treated our group to a lovely plate of shrimp, octopus, and veggies. Lovely people and really good food. The steak and the schweinmedalions were fantastic. No English menu which is not unusual, but the chef was more than happy to explain what was what. Chose this restaurant by chance as oberstaufen was very quiet but what a great find. Will definitely be going back before we leave.
Our host Valentin deserves the respect for the good service he gave us. The food was very good, I ordered beef steak. with late zle, you can easily say when a food is fresh and well made because the taste was extraordinarily good. I recommend 100
