Xcaret Mexican Grill And Cantina

Tonight, I have to say that I was very disappointed with Xcaret. I have dined here multiple times and always recommended this place to family, friends, and colleagues when they visit the city. The manager, Fernando, on the right side, claimed to be the manager of the establishment and was also our server. I don't even know where to begin. First, we waited for over 15 minutes to be seated. I went to the restroom and saw him texting, not realizing he was our server. We started with margaritas and I requested a glass of water. I had a great experience at this Mexican restaurant in downtown Winston. I ordered the birria shrimp tacos and they were amazing! The hot sauce they came with was the hottest I've ever tasted. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great too, with amazing artwork. The service was relaxed, but that may have been because we went close to closing time. I will definitely be returning to this place!

Today, the restaurant was very busy during lunchtime, with every table occupied. However, we were seated by a waitress within 5 minutes. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious! I would highly recommend this place, as the service was excellent.

I had the California Burrito. It was super yummy. I sat at the bar. Service was great and fast. I would recommend if you are looking for your typical Mexican experience. I'll be back!
