Terrible attitude! As a business owner, she really needs to improve her choice of words when she's upset. A few weekends ago, I placed an order through SkipTheDishes, and she forgot to include an item. I reported this to Skip and received a refund for that amount. Later that same night, she called me and accused me of lying just to harm her ratings and get a free meal. She said some awful things to me over a $5 issue, despite being in the wrong, and insisted she couldn't possibly be at fault. I didn't even have a chance to respond before she hung up on me.
Fantastic restaurant! I ordered the Egusi soup with yam fufu, and it was absolutely delicious. My friend had the vegetarian beans and plantain, and it was even better. Everything was freshly made when we arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly, which made our experience even better. This was my first time trying African cuisine, and I really appreciated how well they explained everything to us. They seem to receive a lot of DoorDash orders, so it might be a good idea to place an order ahead of time. I will definitely be returning!
There is an employee there who is quite rude and struggles to provide answers to questions without showing irritation. Additionally, the wait times are lengthy. They definitely need more staff.
