"General For days already wonderful weather in the countryside. Half a week used to bring home and garden to the fore again after absence on holiday. And so my wife suggested that we go by bike to the Schönbusch to Aschaffenburg to relax and use the Gastronomy Schönbusch, as the Bistro Schönbusch officially means, for food and drink. Under the week, the journey on the main road as well as the last kilometers through the Schönbuschallee are a pleasure. On Sundays and holidays you should avoid the Schönbusch rather. There it is far too crowded with people from the city, the surrounding area and mass tourists both in the landscape park and in the gastronomy. From the Darmstädter Straße there are several larger parking spaces for the drivers who were free at least earlier. Under the week no problem, son and celebrate a lottery. From the direction Schönbuschallee there is a large parking space for the bicycles in front of the entrance to the landscape park. You can and should also connect your bike to iron railings, because cycling in the park has been banned for some time and is also monitored by the inappropriate sheriffs. A thick dog that the city and the castle administration are doing, as many encoded reader letters, as I think, rightly express in the local newspaper, the main echo. Operation Although it is actually one of our favorite beer gardens, we somehow did not get to the Bistro Schönbusch this year until yesterday. There is a warm kitchen and so we decided to have a late lunch. When we arrived at 14.00, the large beer garden was filled to about one third. Among the many placed parasols there were shaded and sunny places. At 30 degrees we opted for a 4 tables in the shade. There are only 4 tables. Shortly afterwards, an operation that was dressed like the entire staff in black and white came to our table. We were kindly welcomed. Since the menus were already placed on the table, we were just eager to scroll in it. Therefore, if there is something to drink, the next sentence of her welcome conversation was. So we ordered for thirst. My dear wife chose a non-alcoholic wheat (Bavaria, 0.5 l, 3,60 € . I decided to use the slippery white cellar beer (0.5 l, 3,60 €). The food orders were then resumed by another operation. Dinner served by a waiter. Every service that came by the table during our dinner asked if everything is okay or if it may be anything. The cleansing was also quick and the question of a dessert request did not wait long. On a hand mark on our part, the payment request was immediately put into effect. Despite various services that took care of us, everything was correctly listed on the received Bon. Generally, it is to say that about 5 female and 1 male service were going on this afternoon. Most of them weren't skilled, but still very much in their job. Above all, the kindness and attention of the staff should be highlighted. In the afternoon we felt good and well served on this beautiful Thursday afternoon. Therefore I forgive 4 GG stars for the service. Food Now for dinner. The menu is bound in stable form in DIN A 4. The selection is not very large, some appetizers, maybe 7 or 8 main dishes and 3 or 4 dessert variants. Sufficient in any case and probably also guarantor for fresh preparation and no mass production, as you might get in such a beer garden somewhere else. My choice fell to Pasta Peppers (12.80 €). Tagliarini swung in olive oil with fried pifferlings, cherry tomatoes and grated Grana Padano. A good choice, as it turned out. The beautiful plate still hot, the Tagliarini perfectly cooked, super on the fork to turn and excellent in the bite. After I asked the waiter for the use of the pepper mill, there were also tastes and spices. And also the portion size was right for me. Tagliarini Pifferlings My sweetheart chose the goat cheese apple turret with acacia honey and bacon baked, apple mango cahutney, with fresh cress and bar white bread (12.80 €). Tastefully she was extremely satisfied. She tasted it excellent. Five slices of the fresh bar white bread additionally provided a certain saturation, which, however, still allowed a small supplement. A piece of squeeze cake (dry cake from the sheet and a cup of coffee still found room. Because I ordered another slippery. The Quecheekuche was self-explanatory fresh, with yeast dough below and sprinkles above. I was also allowed to incorporate a little probier coat. I have to say he was really good. At 3,30 € for a not too big piece you can expect this. The small cup of coffee was calculated at €2.40. Summa summarum is awarded for the food 4 GG stars. The Schönbusch Park is considered to be the most beautiful and largest landscape garden in Bavaria, which I can only confirm. Just after the entrance from the B 26 and the parking spaces in the former castle a bistro restaurant with a beautifully separated beer garden, which is every time our destination, as you sit there a little more beautiful and are also well served. My wife and I are happy to come back again and again, especially in the warm months there, to let the soul dangle in a beautiful atmosphere outdoors. There is also a self-service area in the rear part, which is even larger and more frequented. Cleanliness What to say about cleanliness if you're just sitting outside. Optic everything palletti, the beautiful tables flashy and on the earth there was nothing. My conclusion: At any time recommended: 1a location, enough staff, very attentive today, the food actually always good. The card partly seasonal alternates. The prices slightly increased, but quite right to the frame. That's why my overall impression: (after kitchen trip 4 likes again! (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it arises, again, 4 – happy again, 5 – absolutely again"
