"I would not have found this little restaurant had it not been for my tendency to wander around villages wherever Im heading. It is not in an obvious location so head for the bridge and it sits quietly just before it. On a sunny morning as this was, how pretty the terrace to the restaurant looked. I have a thing for red and white gingham appearance tablecloths.I only wanted coffee and perhaps a patisserie and Monsieur (Frederic) had only a Tarte aux Pommes to offer....ah well, off the diet...again.And my photo shows what turned up. Beautifully presented, extremely tasty, that strawberry was so juicy, and great value! For what I was charged for my total bill here, I paid for the little nut cake in the cafe at Belves! The menu generally looks good and if this is the standard that Frederic and Christine turn out, I would say it is a restaurant not to be missed. Im amazed it is not yet on Tripadvisor. Being on holiday and needing just one envelope, seeing they had some mail to be picked up by the postman, I cheekily asked Christine if I could buy one of her envelopes, and she kindly found and gave me one.Lovely people, pretty and quiet location. Do give it a try. I look forward with interest to seeing what other people think!"
