"This restaurant is in a charming village on the banks of Le Luech river. It is small, only covers, run by the chef/owner. We called in one afternoon and enjoyed a cooling drink on the terrace, got talking to the owner. He insisted on...showing us around his kitchen. He clearly took so much pride in what he did that we decided to return for dinner later that week. Just be warned that this is cash/cheques only (I had to make a minute round trip to the nearest cash machine For we had the course menu with a half bottle of wine. My foie gras was well cooked, my wife's galette was fine, perhaps too heavy a choice. Both were a little over-dressed. Mains were also a little on the heavy side, with a lot of sauce. But my entrecôte was cooked to perfection. Dessert was a selection of a fairly hearty selection. A lime sorbet and a chocolate cake with hot chocolate sauce very impressive."
