The idea of the numerous guests is immediately apparent: Hopefully this is good with our dinner! A young man welcomed us friendly, confirmed the restaurant reservation for the evening we explained the way to the room. At 6:00 p.m. we met in the cozy restaurant in a very well maintained country house style. . The wedding party celebrated in the large and beautifully executed festive hall. There was nothing in the restaurant. Well solved. We hardly had room, was asked for our drinks. We ordered 1 bottle of Gerolsteiner mineral water, 0.75 l € 5,50. A second bottle followed later. The aperitif wishes were also queried, all a little hectic. Prosecco was proposed. We were after a proper champagne. This was so fast noted. I still asked for a champagne brut... away was the young man. Water came well cooled. Little later 2 glasses house brand champagne € 5,80. Not very tingling (was the bottle opened longer or was it Prosecco? . Cooler he could have been and from brut he was far away. Totally adjustable. We ordered 1 bottle of Merler Stephansberg € 26,50. After I was assured that the Hollandaise would be freshly prepared, I would like to choose this one. Despite the wedding company and well-attended restaurant, the waiting time for our food was surprisingly short. The asparagus dish was served with clarified butter. I asked about the ordered Hollandaise. No, no confusion. No comment was exchanged in butter, because the Hollandaise was not homemade. Yeah. The potatoes were served à part. The asparagus and the potatoes were good. The asparagus had a nice bite. Cleared butter is clarified butter. Asparagus, salt potatoes and salmon fillet The little Lachstrance, on the other hand, is a total failure. At first glance, I saw that the fish had died again in the kitchen. The first bite confirmed the impression: There was no more juicy piece. I spared a second bite, it just tasted unpleasantly fishy. My husband didn't feel better. The ratatouille was simply assembled, the vegetables refused to speak compound, the oil settled down. Fried doradenfilet, vegetable ratatouille The Dorade does not fried crispy on the skin, yet not juicy and muffy in taste. I tried and found her even worse than the salmon. But the Basmatireis was good! Service employees were sufficient. The wedding company was also given firm service. Nevertheless, a service employee only found himself at our table for cleaning up. The two completely existing fish portions on our plates probably did not see them and asked for our satisfaction. Our criticism accepted them, also asked again. She asked if, for example, we want an espresso on the house. No, we didn't want to. We just wanted to eat fine fish. And added: Inedible salmon and Dorade do not pay. I told her it wasn't a fresh fish. Answer: “But I think so.” She was gone. I don't know what happened to the salmon. I'm not giving him fresh. If so, I wonder what happened in the kitchen. Fritted or in convectomat? In our company canteen there are also salmon fillet occasionally. I am surprised every time that the (safely TK salmon after preparation and 15 km of transport and still warming time in our canteen is really good and juicy.
