"Today I went to 'Edelbrände Senft ' whiskey distillery with my father who absolutely loves this fermented beverage. Who would have thought that this small town has their own whiskey distillery! Naïve as I am, I always think of Scotland and America when I hear 'whiskey ' or as the Scots say whisky . This distillery is family owned and everyone is super friendly and engaged. They let you taste one after another. They also have a table with apple juice, water and salted crackers to consume between tastings. They recommend certain drinks but they also give you space to try things yourself. I am not a big whiskey fan, so I tried their gins and rums. They have a really good selection and not even that expensive! I 'm not sure if they speak English as my father and I spoke German with everyone. If you are in the area and want to try local liquors, I would definitely stop by."
