"Restaurant Reethus is located in the oldest house, built in 1865 in Timmendorfer Strand. At the reception of the Hotel Fuchsbau we had reserved a table that was confirmed by phone the next morning, which had already fascinated me. The house is close to the beach and offers an outdoor terrace in summer. When we arrived on the ground floor, we were kindly received and led to our table on the first floor. The well-trained waiter asked for first drinks requests and we ordered Aqua Panna (0,7l 6,80€ and Cola light (0,2l 2,90). The question about water room temperature or cooled was asked and I wonder why this is not often asked. The question of the early drink request is good for me, because we decide for an aperitif or a water regardless of food. The drinks came fast and we could place our order. My Cabernet Mondavi (0.2l. €7.80 and a Cremant (7.50€) were also served quickly. Al Amuse Geule we have tomato and potato baguette with 2 dips. That was good, but I had become more tasteful elsewhere. Shortly afterwards my asparagus soup came, very hot and well lubricated with al dente asparagus discs. The soup was not exorbitant, but all right. Then we got a mixed salad consisting of sprouts, cherry tomatoes, pepper cubes and green salads, made with a delicate balsamico dressing. Next, the main course is a Rumpsteak by Husumer Weiderind with potato gratin and a parsley Pesto. The meat ordered my wife well, I ordered my medium. The potato gratin was a dream that Pesto was good, but unfortunately my wife's meat was fried, my wife was really medium, but... we gave up after half as the meat was really very hard. It was already an attempt to cut this with the sharp brand knives, and our teeth no longer wanted. We've never had such a tasty lapping steak before. We asked the nice waiter and complained about our suffering. His reaction was very professional, he thanked for our complaint and went to the kitchen. It did not take long and he confirmed that the kitchen took this strand out of sale and regretted that it had happened. I just thought for myself: does a cook have to remember when the strand or the frit is cut? As a dessert, we have a red hat with vanilla ice cream. Actually, this was the highlight of this evening, very delicate with cinnamon and star anise and a really big part. As compensation we received an excellent walnut fire from Brigitta Rust and an equally good raspberry fire from Scheibel. The payment process went fast and it followed again an apology for the unfinished meat. Conclusion: The service was excellent, the ambience we liked well, cleanliness is nothing to express, but what have we broken that we had so much bad luck at the main course? But: it can happen."

"In the Hotel Seehus opened in 2014, we were now for the second time, but this year only 1x for dinner at the hotel’s restaurant “Kliff”, which is not only accessible to hotel guests. Access is accessible from the promenade. On the second evening of our short trip to the Baltic Sea we went back to the “Climate” – the memories of the two evenings in October 2014 were very positive. It was reserved for 19:00, on arrival and after friendly welcome, a lady of the service led us to the table, which was located in the separate dining area right at the front window in a kind of bay. The ambience is in the main area rustikal maritim, with wooden tables and matching chairs, on which there are some deco salt pepper mills. In the dinner area, the tables are more finely covered. Tablecloth, fabric napkins, floral decoration, small wind light, a pepper mill and a matching salt shaker with adjustable dosing openings. The chairs are rotatable, in style of small armchairs, more comfortable than they look. Compared to October 2014, the menus received another good presentation. A male colleague took care of the table, immediately handed over the menus and a wine card. One day recommendation was not pronounced, there is a separate daily ticket, especially with asparagus dishes, because season. We answered the question of a beverage request with the order of a bottle of mineral water, medium-fine-perfect, from the Magnus-Feder Norderstedt, 0.75 to 6.30 €. This is good for my taste, but it is better – the Magnus has, how should I describe it, a slightly bitter aftertaste. As aperitif we ordered two glass of champagne gosset, 0.1 f. 8.90 €, both brought a short time to our table, but still before the drinks a white bread baked raw material with butter found the way to our table, airy and cherry, with butter and salt this always goes. Here too a positive change to the last visit – there was no champagne on the map at the time. From the map we had chosen the following foods: a beef Consommé from the table top 8.50€ for my better half, with truffle clones 3 , much delicate beef dice and even smaller cubed vegetables carrot, celery, Kohlrabi . For me there were also soup – oh apologies – a curry saffron brew with a well-sized piece on the point roasted red-bellied fillets and melons “balls” €9.50 . Very well tasted, spicy, with a sweet note through the melons inlay. Very delicious! For dinner we had a Sauvignon blanc Vervus, South Africa, 2014, the Fl. f. 22,00 €, a light, fresh wine, very good to eat, with beautiful notes of citrus fruits. And of course for me: a conversation! Whenever I can't decide at the appetizer...Variation of the North and Baltic Sea €15.50: very mild, buttery matjes, homemade remoulade very round and spicy, North Sea crabs at the inevitable cocktail sauce – you can't even get more fantasies, such as a herbal oil lemon crabs and smoked salmon I had always pulled out the plain De Matjes. Otherwise it was good – but no revelation. Dorschfilets 2 pieces on vinegar foam, basil Taglioni, with fresh leaf spinach and three juicy giant carnations – a beautiful combination, the fish tastefully very good, from Gargrad, but slightly beyond the point – should have been a bit more juicy. The noodles al dente, the basil not too intrusive, the shrimps large. Mien Fru was so happy with his little manko. For me there were shell fillets, with very slightly curved North Sea Cancers, with new potatoes. The fish was a poem on which point boiled, juicy, perfect in taste, on the tongue the potatoes were here a side thing... – fantastic! Both main dishes were €19.50. ...and what sweetness to dessert...Freedom, freedom...dadadadaaaa.... Easy Sangria of white peach, with lemon sorbet, with prosecco 9,00€ for females cast – light and tasty... with herbal notes... it was still! I chose a “Falter” thing: Grained fresh strawberries with Grand Marnier and a ball vanilla ice cream – €9.50 delicious interplay of fruity strawberry, light herbs Grand Marnier and sweet dough and vanilla ice cream. A conclusion for leaks J cleanliness: without a tadel – perfect PLV: a good mix calculation – definitely fits a resort service: professional, friendly, very attentive conclusion: an enrichment for the gastronomic scene in Niendorf and a repetition is definitely worth it, therefore 4.5*"

"Gorgeous late summer weather early September 2015. We looked around in Niendorf. At the end of the visit we wanted to drink coffee. On the right and left side of the promenade there were inviting places that had both tables and chairs on the promenade. We were just at the bridge. Café Wizzig was closer, that gave the rash. A good decision on how to turn out. Since it was a bit windy, we'll finally get in. There was a beautiful winter garden with glazed window front and direct view of the Baltic Sea. First we went to the cake buffet. A wide selection of delicious cakes and wonderful cakes awaited us. Everything was from its own terrace, it was on the map. My companion took a piece of cheesecake with cherries, I ordered Dutch cherry cake with brandy. A real cake dream. The coffee was tidy. The view of the Baltic Sea in the sun. Life can be beautiful... Lt. Website was renovated in 2012. Everything seemed new, friendly and welcoming. There are seats inside, right outside the door with wind protection and on the promenade. The friendly waiter went to any table where the guests were sitting. The toilets were in the basement. The prices for coffee and cakes were perhaps more expensive than elsewhere, if at all. Suitable for offers. I can't say anything about the menu because we just drank coffee. It can be viewed on the website. The dishes are included supplements. A meal was served at a table that looked delicious. The opening hours are adjusted to the season, says it on the website. Anyway, Wednesday's rest day. We liked it in the restaurant, we can recommend it for a visit."

"the gelateri l’espresso in nienddorf Baltic Sea has been giving for 17 years and we are there every time at saverio giuseppe damiani when we stay in front of the square (in the same time with the children, now to two. the brothers have learned the “ice production” in the well-known Gelateria dondoli in san giminiano before they became the first ice cream café in 1988. Here there are real “Italian ice tradition” – nowadays unfortunately only many ice cream cafes are sold, e.g. by giovanni l. (they even work a few shops, but above all sell their products. the greeting friendly and very warm, although we still max. Create 1 2x year to enjoy ice cream there. But – and you can observe that, here everyone hospitable or “Kugel buyer” is served very friendly and partly with a lot of Italian charm. in the season there are up to seven service personnel who take care of the guests. the environment is colorful italian casual, here you do not come to nobel eisdiele – here you count ice quality and lightness. that is very good for the “small” customers. as a guest you can eat a ball from the counter “seated”. This is to wear in hannover... now on the essential – the ice: my wife – a professional Cassata fan (5.90 ), that is not on the regular ice map. it was offered as a recommendation – my ordered the last part, beautifully dressed with fresh fruits. the chocolate egg strong in taste, vanilla mild, the candied fruits in a good relationship to the ice, not too much, not too little. the hood (3,10 with a beautiful full milk foam hood and strong ital. Coffee. my “loved” tartufo is here as Nero or bianco, with marsala or amaretto likör (6,50). I ordered nero amaretto sono nocciola (only haselnuss eis . the tartufo is carefully rolled into a small ball, then filled with an amarettini or an amarena cherry to which the ligrass looked. (not as in many other ice creams such as owaler, semi-high ring placed on the plate or in the bowl. the hazelnut is sung round, with beautiful, intense nut taste, the ice "creamed" not in likör. my wife also likes to try “exotic” egg types: in the end there was still a ball in the auditorium (1,00 . mandel eis with cowardly, pistazie honey. a large mix of different flavors. for guests with lactose intolerance there is an egg based on goat milk, as well as “choco” darker or white as well as some types of fruit eggs for diabetics (these types can not be diabetic, but also without lactose intolerance, but also order. Cleanliness is fine, the plv significantly increased compared to hannover but actually understandable that here in a good 8 months the costs for the whole year have to come. for us a “must”."
