If you can, grab a table outside. That way you can enjoy your meal while gazing at the bridge and/or before your food arrives, the opportunity to wander through the remains of the town's Jewish quarter. (Less than 50 feet away) Either way, you will not regret taking a moment to enjoy this locale. It does not have a large menu; we had ham and cheese bocadillos, hot chocolate (real dark chocolate), muffins and coffee con leche and that was the extent of the menu (pretty much). But, for a quick bite to satisfy restless, hungry kids, this place was a gem. Note: cafe does not take credit cards.
This bar has a terrace which has a beautiful view of the river and Pont de Besalú. The owner was incredibly friendly, it started raining heavily outside so we couldn't leave for quite a while but he encouraged us to move into the cosy interior to keep dry, and us and two other customers had to stay 45 mins past the closing time because the storm was so bad, but he was completely fine with it and chatting and laughing with us.
un local petitó i agradable, amb unes vistes privilegiades i molt bona música. uns entrepans planxats de pa de viena deliciosos, te’n menjaràs més d’un segur, es nota que estan fets amb carinyo. I kal dir també que el propietari del local, que serveix i fa el menjar és encantador i ofereix un molt bon tracte de cara al públic. ja tenim un lloc on tornar!
Pequeña cafetería súper agradable en una excelente ubicación con vista al puente. La cafetería reabrió sus puertas hace unos días con nuevos operadores. Recomendación absoluta con precios justos y un equipo súper comprometido (empresa familiar). También hay un apartamento vacacional recientemente renovado encima de la cafetería.

well located place with beautiful views . mini boots and plantaxats with excellent sausage. charming owner even if you do not go without mask and price elevated by quantity not by quality.
We had some tasty limonada with sorbet, coffee and chocolate. the place is magic, the cafe is beautiful, the owner is very nice. Stop by if you are lucky enough to be visiting Besalu.
Terraza muy acogedora, bien situada para admirar el puente tomando un café y pequeños aperitivos, protegida en caso de lluvia. La acogida es super amable, los productos excelentes!
Un lugar muy agradable y asequible para sentarse y comer o beber justo al lado del camino principal.
