Some foodie friends and I decided to check this place out since we were in the area. We arrived an hour before closing to a welcoming and accommodating staff. Once seated we quickly placed orders. I opted for chicken tenders with honey bbq sauce. The tenders were massive but not wowing, and the sauce was ok. My friends found their meals to be just ok as well. Overall we had great service and I would be willing to try some other items on the menu if I was to return.
Placed a takeout order with family. Everything was ready upon arrival. First time ordering here and no disappointment. Generous portions and food tasted fresh! Items ordered: chicken tacos, Caesar salad with chicken, classic Mac n cheese, and a grilled cheese. Nothing fancy, but definitely felt satisfied with plenty of leftovers. I hope I get to try dining in the next time!
First time coming here after driving passed it in Watertown. We came in and sat a my the bar. The bartender was super attentive , friendly and gave great suggestions. The blueberry and strawberry margarita where super delicious. When the food came out it's was hot and filling, big positions. Definitely will be returning after having such a good experience.
My large family group of 32 had an excellent experience at 16 Straits Taps Tavern. Dean and the entire team were wonderful. The food was delicious and served in hearty portions, so much so that everyone ended up taking leftovers home. The service was outstanding. We will surely come back whenever we're nearby. Ant is an amazing bartender person! Dean the owner is also very kind and personable (as a previous employee). Called ahead and ordered my food since they kitchen would be closing soon. Great local spot, great food drink!

Loud, bare bones sports bar. TVs abound with very loud sound blaring the plays and commentary, even in the “dining room”. Food was just ok as was the wait staff. Prices were decent. Just not our thing.
We tried Straits for the first time last week. Their burgers are fantastic! We did take out. The staff were all so friendly. We will definitely be going back to dine in or take out. Book a table now
