My husband and I were here for our mini honeymoon at the weekend of our wedding, we will definitely stay here again! Reception staff was very nice, very courteous and a pleasure to work when booking our rooms. Our room was quiet, well assembled and extremely clean! We had a beautiful view of a water fountain and two steps from our door was the main house and restaurant. We ate in the restaurant for dinner; the food, wine and service was excellent! The restaurant serves a nice breakfast in the morning. We planned a wine tour and the reception called our room to inform us when our limousine arrived and wished us a nice day. I'll also say our family and friends come here.
Bad service. I have booked 2 weeks in advance, call 5 days before to make sure everything is okay because it will be my birthday. They said they took a reservation for outside, but I have to call again two days before and not mention that I have to call at 9:00. When I called at 3:00 a.m. two days before, they said they had nothing outside. I used to ask a note that we just want a place in the garden. They couldn't help us. In any case, we will not return to this place.
Thr restaurant is located in an Inn in a quiet street. Make sure you request upstairs dining or outdoors dining (5/5), they also having a smaller, more intimate and....cavernous dining room downstairs (3/5). Food was very well executed and fresh, the staff are attentive and friendly.
We had an excellent birthday dinner at the 1770 House Restaurant. My wife had the bisque, I had the flock and we both had the salmon, all perfectly prepared and presented. This is a good choice for a special occasion.
