My wife and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary. We dined at 1789 to celebrate our union several times over the years. Our experience on Jan 14 2023 was excellent. Our server, Shantey, exhibited a superb understanding about each entree and made our dinner particularly memorable. She also explained how each item was prepared in a way that was easy to understand I highly encourage feasting at 1789.
while the other three diners were satisfied with their eating, I was not. the rabbit roulade and the duck breast lubricated as if the dishes stayed too long under a heat lamp and were dry. while I like endive, this cooking method is completely ridiculous. Do not enjoy the room on the upper floor, as we enjoyed other areas of the restaurant in the past.
