You can most definitely find better Romanian food than this - you'd just have to travel more than you're probably up to. I can honestly recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for some traditional Romanian food or just want a change from the usual stuff, without going all exotic. The food is very tasty. If you're being nostalgic about some Romanian dish, please do visit. I promise you won't be disappointed. Don't forget to top it with some "papanasi" - they're to die for! But make sure you're hungry as a wolf, Romanians are not gourmet cooks!

Bin mit einem rumänischen Kollegen hier eingekehrt und hatte ein Deja-Vu Erlebnis:Vor 44 Jahren hatte ich im Urlaub schon mal MICE gegessen, eine schöne Erinnerung, und die sind hier sehr lecker, auch die Pommes.Auch das Sarmale - also Krautwickerl mit Polenta und Sosse war ausgezeichnet.Der Satat mit Thunfisch ist sehr lecker.Für jemanden der schon mal in Rumänien war ist ein Besuch ein muss, es gibt allerdings auch herrliche Salate und Käsespätzle (letztes leider nicht probiert).
Die bisherigen guten Bewertungen kann ich nicht verstehen. Das lokal war so kalt, dass wir am Ende völlig durchgefroren waren. Die Einrichtung ist lieblos und wirkt eher wie ein zugiger Bahnhof. Im Hintergrund lief schrille, nervige Musik. Die Beleuchtung war teilweise defekt. Das Essen war absolut nicht Landestypisch und schmeckte wie in den meisten Großkantinen.

Es war einfach super. Sehr gutes Essen schnelle Bedienung und sehr freundliches Personal.Die Portionen sind groß , man wird richtig satt davon. Mein lieblings Restaurant in Karlsruhe!Beste Rumänische Cousine !
Sind durch Zufall in das Restaurant gekommen und waren positiv überrascht. Sehr leckeres Essen, super freundliche Bedienung. Einrichtung hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Kann ich nur empfehlen!
Ich kante das Lokal als der "Grieche" noch Pächter war doch es hat sich zum Possitivem geändert . Wirklich Toll eingerichtet und die Qualität von den Speisen ist sehr gut . Macht weiter so !!
It's okay if things go wrong but if everythings goes wrong that's not good! We were very disappointed from our visit and can not recommend this restaurant at all.
