Food was outstanding. Our waitress said she was the sister of one of the owners and she was so friendly, energetic, and a wonderdul server. It was frustrating when checking in with the hostess because I had specifically chosen an outdoor table in my reservation and becuase someone in my party is immuno compromised it was very important and we wanted to be near a heater. None of this was accommodated at first and although I repeatedly said we need to be outside I was met with responses of being offered a table inside. Had to ask someone to wipe down the table when we finally got one and they never came out to do it. Thankfully someone left soon and we were able to grab a spot that fit our nee...
Food was fresh, nicely prepared, and tasty. Service (Caroline) was excellent. It was a very cold night and the restaurant interior was QUITE COLD as well! Made the dining itself a bit uncomfortable. Fingers were white and numb! Perhaps 224 should look into a possible issue with their heating system. It is difficult and not very pleasant to eat with coats and gloves on! 224 WAS one of our favorite local restaurants...will try there again in warmer weather!
3 friends out for dinner in our neighborhood spot Friday after Thanksgiving. Very enjoyable spot in the dining area with attentive service and great dinners including the short rib dish and pasta bolognese. The Italian Chop Salad and Grilled Romaine Salad were tasty as well. We’ll be back!
Wait staff was extremely friendly. The muscles and oysters were fantastic. The pasta left a bit to be desired, but we got the on the server did not recommend. Good food but a bit overpriced, however the service was top notch.

Best pork chop I’ve had in Boston! Meals were incredible, service was attentive, great ambiance. Perfect date night spot! I’ll be adding this to my list of recommendations for when fam is in town for sure!
