I wandered into Cafe 291 expecting a latte. What I left with twenty minutes later was a lot more! Amazing paintings cover the walls and the extensive menu made choosing difficult. So I chatted with the barista (whom I later discovered was the owner and artist-in-residence. She didn’t rush me and we had a real conversation while she prepared my order. The latte was excellent muffin delicious. Later I checked out the Cafe 291 website and I was inspired by the owners story and determination. This place is truly incredible. As soon as I arrived, I was struck by the impressive display of paints, colored pencils, paper, and various art supplies. Here, you can create your own artwork while savoring a delicious cup of coffee. Speaking of coffee, it was expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. The level of detail, care, and effort the owner has invested in this establishment is truly commendable. The atmosphere is so pleasant here. A total refuge from the daily grind. This is a creative space that serves delicious coffee. Art classes are offered here. Customer service is not only excellent, the staff genuinely and sincerely seems like kind and engaging people. Such a breath of fresh air.

Last week, I found this lovely coffee/art shop by accident. I was looking for tile from Spain at a shop near by. What a wonderful experience talking with the owner, and gazing at the many art projects she has created. Coffee was delicious ! Intimate setting.
