I recommend this restaurant highly, easily one of the few absolutely amazing places in and around Evansville.Simply put, WOW. Food was absolutely amazing. My kid got the Traditional Fried Rice and talked about how good it was for two days. My wife had the Vegetarian Ramen and loved it. I had the Steak with Chimichurri and was mind blown with how awesome it was. The Honey Toast desert was the perfect end to a perfect night. Now for the Staff. We were taken care of by Laura who had all the best suggestions and was attentive but more importantly kind and personable. I wanted to try this place on one of my quarterly trips to evansville and I'm glad I finally made it. it was always super busy and so happy, they had reservations on open table. eating was really great! the decor is interesting and the old building is a cool environment for the restaurant. we went 2 days after Christmas, so I offer something gnady, but the service was not very good. I guess they were short. it took about 20 minutes or more so that they could take our order one time and get out of our food. I will say our server was really great with water reps coming. would definitely go back to try more on the menu.
As someone new to ramen, I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The place was clean, had a great atmosphere, and the service was excellent. Our server took the time to explain the different options and made helpful suggestions. She was very attentive and a really cool young lady. I truly appreciated that. I can't wait to return and try more dishes. It’s refreshing to have a restaurant that genuinely prepares its food rather than just relying on frozen or microwaved items. This kind of place is a great addition to the city!
I was in town for the weekend and heard nothing but excellent reviews for 2nd Language, and my experience did not disappoint. They have several different options, and our server was a great source of info to help us pick what we would have. The portions of the appetizers and entrees were very sizable. I left extremely stuffed and happy. The atmosphere was also really great. The décor and seating felt intimate despite it being a sizable restaurant. I definitely recommend 2nd Language!

One of my favorite restaurants in Evansville! The decor and ambience are great—very artsy and modern. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. And the food, most importantly, is phenomenal! Everything is so fresh, vibrant, and beautiful looking, too. A great option for vegetarians and vegans… but a ton of meat options as well.
Go here and eat. It is absolutely fantastic. I’d heard about it soon after I moved to Evansville and people raves about it. Now I see why. Totally chill atmosphere, servers are very friendly and pleasant, food is out of this world. I loved it. I’ll be back for sure.
Every dish was fresh and flavorful. Our waiter provided excellent recommendations and guided us since it was our first time there. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
