I decided to eat at this restaurant inside the Weston Hotel in Itasca, Illinois after the end of the Chicagopex trade show because the weather was getting cold and windy, and I wanted to have something to eat before I took my 10:20 flight from Midway Airport. I ordered the French onion soup to start on the waitress's recommendation. It was very hearty and rich with the baked cheese layer on top. I then ate an Illinois Farm Salad with grilled chicken added. The salad was built on field greens, tomatoes, walnuts, goat cheese, dried cranberries and a layer of green apple slivers. The food here is very good, I haven't been disappointed. Had the balsamic chicken sandwich and it was excellent, fries were good too. Great friendly service and nice atmosphere. Had a beautiful night on Tuesday, with tacos and margarita's flowing. Tasting a few Tequila shots helped mellow us out as we listened to the mariachi band. We'll be back to check out the Thursday night specials!
