I arrived at the hotel quite late after a long car ride, and upon check-in, I was told that the restaurant kitchen would be closing in 15 minutes. The front-desk employee consulted briefly with the restaurant staff and told me not to rush and that I could freshen up and then go to the table. When I walked to the restaurant, I was kindly welcomed and taken to my table by the window. Again, they told me that I certainly did not have to rush and that I could enjoy an appetizer before making my choice of food. After my appetizer, I chose my two dishes. The starter, the Duo de tartres boeuf was delicious, and I enjoyed the Tuna as the main course. Every staff member present had a very high level...
Dont miss out book this restaurant , any dish you cant go wrong . Service and food outstanding . Do you self a favor dont sit right at a window , sit bak one you will have a better view. We had both experiences and we really enjoyed not being right at the window and you could look up and see the mountains and the lake. Have fun with the menu, I like to try everything , first not I got a main entree fish it was very good . Second night I ordered the sided and salad and had fun , dont forget the cheese balls the morel cream mushrooms , all of the sides we soo fresh and good . We have been coming to this restaurant for many years. The service is always attentive but not overbearing, the perfect mix. The menu has changed over the years but it has always delivered on quality and price. In the summer in particular, having a table on the terrace and watching the sun set is the winning combination. Situated opposite the station and station car park makes it a great place to catch up with people from outside of Montreux.
The restaurant is located inside the GRAND HOTEL SUISSE MAJESTIC, part of the Marriott chain. Wonderful!! We ate a filet (it can have 3 different sizes) you measure your hunger…but save room for dessert because they are small but delicious and beautiful…. The view from the restaurant is incredible!!!

A magnificent view of Lake Geneva. We were at the hotel for business purposes. Our lunch was impeccable with fast, pleasant and professional service. The dishes are tasty and visually appealing. Very good address.
I am deeply disappointed by the humiliating experience I had this evening at the restaurant. When politely asking if I could order, the waiter replied casually: I have something else to do, I 'll come later...
Might be the most beautiful hotel I've stayed at, seems as if it's straight out of a Wes Anderson movie.
