When our bartender, whose name I believe was Melissa, finally approached us, she asked for our drink orders. I requested a whiskey old-fashioned, but before I could finish or ask her a follow-up question, she turned to my husband for his order. I clarified that I wasn’t done and inquired if they had peach schnapps. She replied no and asked my husband again what he wanted. He understood that I hadn’t finished ordering, so I reiterated my question about the type of whiskey.
At this point, her demeanor shifted drastically. She became noticeably impatient and responded with a condescending tone, asking what type of whiskey I preferred. Her attitude, facial expressions, and overall lack of court...
This bar is great! I want quite sure what to expect when I went, but it's an Up Nort bar for sure. It has everything from pull tabs to pinball, shake of the day to sports, great people and lots of space. The good was good and the service was quick.
We really appreciate the service, food, and overall ambiance at The 5th Quarter. My wife and I recently moved to Madison, and we've quickly become fans of this place!

I've consistently enjoyed delicious meals at the 5th Quarter over the years. I used to have family in New York, and my nephew was eager to try some Wisconsin cuisine.
The food and service were excellent, but it would be even better if they offered gluten-free rolls. I might not return because of this.
Today I stopped by with my daughter and I ordered a turkey avocado sandwich on toasted buttered bread it was delicious thank you ?
