My wife and I have been coming to 6 Elements for over 5 years now and find it to be our local go to restaurant for dining in or take out. We enjoy having a cocktail to start our meal, a cosmopolitan for my wife and I like the Mai Tai if not, a cold draft Sapporo will do. We usually have a variation of appetizers that we always love, Yellowtail Jalapeno, Thai springs rolls, Negamaki and the specials board sashimi of Tuna/Salmon. Amazing! After losing ginza in massapequa been trying all the other local place. Most places were average at best. Maybe they all have great rolls but im not that in to that. I order sushi sashimi combo everywhere i go. Placed order for pickup and immediately received an email confirming that pickup in 20 minutes. Got there in 15 and it was ready. Was so pleased when i opened the bag. Very high quality fish. The tuna was some of the best ive had . Typically it comes with a California roll. At 6 elements they give a rainbow roll with the combo. It was fantastic. Also got a salad which was the regular salad you always get, nothing special . Looking forward to dining in.
I was in the mood for sushi while in Merrick, and found this place based on positive recommendations. It did not disappoint! The place is clean and quiet, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I had the miso soup and house salad to start. I didn't take pics of them because I devoured them! The ginger dressing is the best I've tasted! Then I had the pork gyoza, which was also SO GOOD. Absolutely loved the California Roll and Chicken Tempura rolls. Treated myself to the fried ice cream for dessert, and was a perfect end to the meal. Definitely recommend and would definitely return!
Last Friday, our friends from Merrick have invited us over and ordered from 6 Elements. OMG, the freshest sushi! So delicious!!! There were two large trays for 4 of us with sushi, sashimi and a couple of rolls, and also a few smaller trays with just rolls. I thought it was a lot of food as I normally don't eat more than 2 rolls, but these were so good and we took it slow, enjoying every savory bite, so over the course of about 3 hours, we had finished everything. It was just so terrific. I think I will pick up from here next time I have people over, even though it's a bit of a drive.

Best sushi in Merrick! We stumbled upon 6 Elements on our first night in the new house when we moved to the neighborhood. Although it was busy, they sat us within 5 mins. The sushi is great quality. I am very picky when it comes to sushi. The rice to fish ratio is perfect and tastes fresh. Veggie dumplings and spring rolls are amazing too. The owner and whole staff is awesome and friendly . They now know us by name and what we usually order! We even order take out from there, we never once had an issue, always on point . So happy it's walking distance to our home!
Originally from Jersey! Placed online order it was ready 5 minutes early! Pretty normal prices, and good size rolls! Got the Lava Roll, out of control roll, and Scorpion! Scorpion wasn't my favorite because not a huge fan of crab, but others were delicious. Kani Salad was also delicious! Good to know about this place when in the area!
I love this place! Delicious everything and very nice and welcoming owners/staff. We will be back again and again!
The food was inedible. I have not had such bad sushi in a very long time.
