Just over a week ago, on a Friday evening, I had dinner here with my wife and some friends who have a house there. It was quite excellent. Without going into details of what everyone ate, I will give you a flavour. I had the...Seviche de morue and the filet de canette . Both combined a number of different flavours. Other dishes sampled were the soupe de tomates, the risotto pané and the pulpe braisé. You can see from the menu what they were accompanied with. This lovely little local restaurant close to my Auntie and Uncle is a hidden gem! A fantastic, family run business with locally sourced food and a warm, welcoming host and restaurant area inside and out (with homely touches). The menu is varied, very tasty and...every dish well thought out to enhance all flavours. The restaurant really does draw in the crowds and I see why after just one visit. I cannot express how impressed my husband and I were with sur Vins’ and we look forward to another return visit when we come on our next holiday to see my Auntie and Uncle. we did not expect to find such a beautiful restaurant in the small town of Maureillas-las-Illas, where we were, what a great addition to the city! the nice, friendly young couple that owns it and runs it clearly take care of preparation and serve very...good, beautifully presented eat and wine...and they work hard to achieve this (only the two as far as we could see there are only a few tables and they are quickly booked...so they are ready to book a few days in advance. the restaurant is located in a traditional small place, not as beautiful as some, but charming for its unchanged, authentic style. would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful family meal here last night, great food and a great ambiance. We were made to feel welcome right from the start with the server helpfully and patiently explaining the menu in English to my non-french speaking in-laws. A choice of three...dishes for each course provides something for everyone and ensures that everything is freshly prepared with care and elegance. The creative flair and attention to getting the best flavour from the ingredients made this a special treat and not something that you would make at home. Highly recommended

celebrate a year in maureillas in this locavore restaurant on lunchtime. a veggie and a pescatarian. not disappointed for this special occasion. beautiful bottle local rose wine to accompany curs meal and coffee. veggie felafel, risotto with truffle mushroom, poached...pear dessert. fish starter with garnelen, halibut main and Meringue dessert. presentation was exceptional, as service for both. exceptional value for the money. highly recommended.
I visited in august for lunch and again in october to dinner, in front of another curldown. If I'm honest, I've preferred this lunch sometime, because we were out. that said at both locations, eating and service was excellent. the wine list is good. what is not to like. this culinary supplement to maureillas deserves success and support. almost too good to share.
if they still have money in their pocket go and eat here. eating is exquisite, demanding and local. the wee, all from the place, are a joy. inside is intimate and warm. outside is the terrace in the rest of the old...village is south facing and sunny. the service is no longer. it is an absolute gem of a restaurant. Just go. they will not regret or forget.
We have visited several times with family and friends and each time the food has been magnifique The service is exceptional and the quality of the food remarkable from this small village restaurant. There is a relaxed atmosphere and the couple are to be congratulated...on the overal ambiance of the venue and the choice of menus.

What a fantastic find. Exceptional quality food from locally sourced Roussillion pays Catalan product and wine. Very good service. English spoken. Best to make a reservation. course meal with bottle of wine for people was around euro. Highly recommended.
