My husband and I went last night for a very rare night out. He had tried to reserve a table earlier in the week but was told that they don't take bookings for couples; only larger parties and to just turn up. We arrived at 6:45pm and was asked if we had booked! We were told the wait would be at least 30 mins and so sat in the waiting area. My husband went to order drinks at the bar as no-one immediately asked us which prompted a waitress to come and take our order. My husband then went to find a menu for us to look through which really should have been offered automatically. The wine and Peroni were good. We were taken to our table at 7:30pm (45min later) and was told we had to finish by 9pm...
We’ve been visiting this restaurant for over 30 years and have seen many staff and managers. Tonight we were looking forward to a Christmas gathering with friends. Our starters were delicious. The mains had cold chicken in a warm sauce- sent back 3 times. No apology. Manager came to the table and snatched the food away. One of the waiters was high as a kite on substances and a nuisance at the table- even an annoyance to his colleagues. He called my chicken Balti dish ‘lamb dopiaza’ and laughed when he realised he had no idea what he was serving me. I have a dietary requirement and have eaten at seven spice balti numerous times always being catered for and never been made to feel the way I did last night ‘A problem’ The previous front of house always used to make you feel at ease and ensure that you felt safe eating there Yesterday I was just advised where’s the one with the problem and oh you’ve probably just been lucky before If you have any allergies please DO NOT think about eating in this restaurant The manners of the staff are appalling We will never return
Me and my family decided to try out 7 Spices the staff were very welcoming and took us to our table and we took our seats we then ordered Onion Bhajis, Chicken Tikka and Vegetable Samosa for the starters once it arrived to the table it looked lovely and mouth watering it also came with Mint sauce As for the mains we ordered Chicken Korma and a Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi and 2 pilau rice we loved the food and the great Hospitality we will we back soon

I returned here with my family after several yeas. The food is wonderful. Proper punjabi cooking and very authentic. Great service and drinks too and very welcoming to families. Highly recommend the saag and lamb balti. We loved it so much we booked Christmas dinner it was delicious !! Thank you 7 Spices my son Jebreel loves coming to your restaurant!!
Went in after refurbished, nothing really has changed except front of house staff not as friendly or welcoming. Used to be a guy called Harry who made your experience very enjoyable. Food was not up to same standard, will give it one more chance as sometimes changes take a bit of time.
Visited whilst staying at the Hampton Hilton as it was on our doorstep. Lovely staff Lovely food Pickle tray good but I don’t know who can actually eat the chilli sauce Would visit again if we are in Sheffield x
Popped in here for a Sunday evening meal while spending an evening investigating our old haunts in Sheffield. The food was excellent and service great. Highly recommended for a traditional curry
