I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. As an active-duty military member over the age of 21, I presented my Federal ID, which clearly shows my photo, age, expiration date, and all required information to serve as valid identification. To my shock, both cashiers turned it away. As if that weren’t enough, a manager even had the nerve to say it wasn't a valid ID. Can someone explain where in the world this ID wouldn’t be recognized? Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this establishment. The whole situation was incredibly frustrating.
I have to say, this is the worst place I've visited since returning home. I requested that the employee check the system to verify my transaction and help me resolve the issue, but he claimed he couldn't do that. I find it hard to believe that the owner or manager would have staff working who are unable to handle such matters. It worries me that if someone needs to make a return, they would have to wait until the manager comes in the next day.
I feel frustrated that my money was taken, and it's almost comical that my receipt couldn't be found. Overall, my experience was incredibly disappointing.
The staff is generally unkind, except for one employee. They often run out of dark roast coffee, which is surprising given its popularity and the fact that they don't seem to adjust their orders accordingly. Their inventory management leaves a lot to be desired! Whenever I ask for something, they appear to be annoyed. The only reason I keep coming back is for their hot beverage special.

This is the worst 7-Eleven I have ever been to. I'm 27 years old and live in Islip. I've visited this location three times in the past week to buy a lighter or cigars, and each time, the rude cashier has questioned whether my ID is fake. After scanning it, he gives me a scowling look. I would suggest finding another store.
Always have what you need...that AM coffee or late night snack... Always stopping into items we forgot at the store. Or when we're expecting a storm can quickly run up there and get the last minute items we need. Of course more expensive than going to the supermarket but when you're in a pinch or bind it's worth it.
I inquired about masks since COVID cases are rising again on Long Island. They offered me a blue mask without covering and said it would cost $1.00. However, when I went to buy it, despite considering it somewhat expensive, the gentleman charged me $149.00. Be cautious—it's overpriced and unsanitary.
When I received my hot dog, the bun felt like it had been left out for a week—absolutely disgusting. To make matters worse, the soda tasted like it had soap in it. Thank you, 7-Eleven on Connetquot Avenue, but I will never spend another dime at your store.
