Regardless of the captivating and quirky cakes and breads, 85 degrees is strictly overpriced. When the shop first opened, I was intrigued by the benevolent atmosphere and so many breads and cakes to choose from and from time to time I visited most often. Although once when I was consuming the bread I felt sick with all the grease and oil inside the bread. Making it worse it was overpriced and not the same average price as a usual bakery. The cakes at the front for display were significantly expensive. The size and proportion is small and when compared to any other cake you will get it for the same price and much larger. Many baked goods to choose from. The cakes on display may look soo delicious and indulgent but are expensive. I always used to come here all time when 85 degreed first open but now hardly ever as its just gotten a bit slack. Cases of bread always used to be full and tidy but now i can say otherwise. But the food here is really good and i love the taro bun. Prices for the drinks to are a bit pricey here.
Service is not that good. It took forever to pay for my things and there wasn't even a line. I also saw plenty of staff around so..Overall bad customer service.

Ordered mango green tea but they ran out of mango. So ordered orange juice tea and got hardly anything out of it for $6.
The orange they put inside fills way too much space. Has no wifi and limited seating. Tables aren't cleaned promptly.
Definitely prefer share tea and Cha time.
This product is worth $4 at most. Very disappointing.
I'll go here every morning and they'll always command and it's too often not to notice. they are very rude for people who point out that the order is wrong and the reception machine never works so that the drinks are served as 15 minutes after the order

Not even worth to have score 1, tasteless weak coffee and cost $4. Overheated milk. Bad customer service, messy tables. Worst ever 85 degree shop I ever been.
Beautiful cakes. Goes well with the coffee. Large cafe with ample seating. One star off because the cakes don’t fill you up and small servings
