Food was pretty good, although a bit overpriced, which I expected for New Year's Eve. However, big disappointment because I specifically made a reservation for inside--because I get cold easily and because I wanted to hear the live music. Instead we got a table outside in the back, where I was cold the whole night and we could not hear the music at all.
the muddles and riders are wonderful, and if they plan their visit for T-Thurs 5-7pm, they are also a great offer. our evening meal was great, two of us had the whispers and one had the bark-eye. eating was great and the service was simple and friendly. great for a party with friends or a date night.
I have enjoyed this restaurant many times in the past, but they fell a bit short on the menu tonight. Pasta was undercooked, and deviled eggs underwhelming. My husband's steak was delicious however. Eating in the parklet out front does feel like you are little left out of the party happening inside.
Everything was excellent! A Cote got in touch about a menu substitution they had to make, and the replacement version was amazing. Very polite person who explained everything. Dessert was even better than expected. Definitely planning to order again for the right occasion. Book a table now
Like everywhere, prices make it harder to justify. Cheapest glass of red wine is about $20. Nice Cab Franc, but. Flatbread was good but 1.25 for the container to take the last piece home. And it was $24. So good. But we will probably go elsewhere.
