Beautiful food, it's expensive, so many people have said, but the portions are big and the ingredients fresh and high quality. Our group of 4 had the Barramundi, Chowder, plate for 1, fish cake, octopus and onion rings with three ice creams to follow, and we were all satisfied. The Barramundi had a great crispy skin, and although the court was delicious, I was trying to determine that the "onion for" on the menu specified on the menu was exactly the same as the onion rings we as a side, I expected more onions Bhaji Style Knowing. The plate had a lot of variety, I had better chowder and fish cake, though she were good. The ice creams are beautiful, but expensive, but expensive, I like the fac...

Love this place totally! Best and freshest fish and chips in the city. A little disappointed, they do not make their own chips anymore, but they are still cooked perfectly. The only negative is the fact that the kitchen is open, which is fine, but someone will, please give the woman with a short gray hair, a few gloves or pliers and an apron? All the time when I was there, she touched the whole food she played with her hands covered with jewelry, she wiped her on her clothes, playing with her hair, ran her hands over her face and her mouth and mouth Played on your phone! I did not even see that they wash their hands. After you throw your salad with these hands, I just could not eat it! If yo...
Honestly, I was a tiny bit disappointed. My partner and I went with some out of state friends about 5 months ago, and it was delicious. Fresh, melt-in-your-mouth fish, great chips, delicious onions rings, and perfect pea salad. Absolutely 5/5 stars then.Having gone in the last week, though: The fish wasn't super fresh and had a very thick batter. The chips were okay, not bad. Onions rings kind of bland. The pea salad was still great, so definitely points there!Overall, not a bad fish and chip place, but based on this last week's experience, I wouldn't make a point of going to this particular one...unless it was just an off-night.
Fish Called Inglewood has seriously gone downhill. Used to be awesome but I just had some of the worst fish n chips I’ve been served, possibly ever. I couldn’t eat it. It looks like it was cooked 6hrs ago in extremely old dirty oil, super oily batter, barely any edible fish, the spine area is all brown and crunchy from where it’s just been over cooked into oblivion. Absolute total trash. If you charge premium prices you better deliver and this is just not good enough cheap or expensive. This is the third time in a row it hasn’t been up to scratch and there will not be a fourth. Avoid. Book a table now
What happened?? This was a great take away F&C place, big piece of fish and generous chips for $15, well worth it and delicious. They have now changed hands and while I got two large pieces of fish (which was way too much food) they were extremely thin bits of fish smothered in a lot of batter, it was horrible. Sorry to see the old owners leave, I won't be back
It doesn't help that I remembered it when it first opened. If you have fond memories, keep them.I don't know the new owner situation on the evening I went, but I won't be going back. Massive platefuls of chips salad don't make up for the fish. I don't think it's freshly caught, definitely not served with a carefully thought-out menu.Shame.
Very good value for money, crayfish and calimari was decent, Morton bay bug was disappointing, but scallops were good and mussels excellent. Sides were well sized and tasty as well. Will definitely return.
The Chowder was very nice. The Cagliari was also extremely fresh and nice. Desserts are good if you like homemade ice. The service was very good. Book a table now
The seafood platter $42) at this place is good value for money for the overall quality, quantity and variety. I would return.
