Our best meal in Kitzbuhel yet! We ordered starters to share and the Steak Tartare and Yellowfin Tuna Tartare were sublime. My mother and brother had soups (Ginger-Carrot and Beef Consomm which they declared the best they have had yet Quite a declaration because...we have been here nearly 2 weeks! My husband and I shared a Chateaubriand which was delightful and a special mention is required for their superb Cognac Pepperjus accompanying sauce. We were not aware of the village of Kaps nor of the Hotel Arosa of which this steak house is part off. But when we saw an end we drove from Kitzbuhl proper to this restaurant. Reception was most courteous and professional. We loved the...design of the restaurant. There are lovely seats on the terrace, overlooking the lake, but for us the weather was not suitable to sit outside. My wife ordered the Salmon which was ok, although a bit overcooked. I had the tenderloin steak medium plus which came well done. But overall we enjoyed our dinner and if the opportunity arises we shall return.

The ambience of the restaurant is very nice, very cosy and posh and is in local Austrian style. The service is very good. We had a table next to the window. If you request in advance you can halal fillet of beef. You can...also preorder halal lamb and turkey. And also alcohol-free sparkling drink called ‘Dinar’. We had beef steaks and lamb. All were very good and I recommend them. For starters ‘linguine’ is very nice. Soup of the day was ‘white tomato’ it was very nice. We did not go for deserts. Overall, very very nice restaurant. Highly recommended.

We have been to the Kitzbuhel area a few times and certainly I find to find good dining to be a challenge, but Steakhouse Kaps was the most amazing steak I had in a very long time. Properly run kitchen, most amazing meat with most...amazing side dishes and really great service and wine make our night magical. The restaurant is certainly not cheap, about EUR per steak, but worth the money. Reservations are a must
We ate dinner at Kaps 2 days in a row because we loved it! Waiter service was impeccable, great Austrian wines recommendations, nice atmosphere. It connects to Hotel A-Rosa, making it a must go restaurant if you are staying at the hotel. Excellent steakhouse-we split...a tomahawk steak-perfectly cooked with great sides.

What can I say about this restaurant? Everything was perfect. The food, service environment! It is a bit expensive but worth it! We recommend it to everyone to visit it
