Have you ever been to a buffet that guilt-tripped you for not eating everything you grab? Well you will if you ever stop by this elitist heap. I used to go here every Sunday or so, and it just got worse and worse. After eating regularly and being known by the staff, a friend from the US visited and has an allergy. When alerting the staff of it, they still tried to avoid not fixing his food for his allergy, treating him rudely for it. Buffet rules are enforced like we 're in Soviet Russia, can only sample a food you 've never tried once, no leftovers which is a term completely up to the discretion of the manager or servers. Service was good, price was good, atmosphere was good. Food was average to below average at best. The food came out quick but there was just something about most of it that turned us off. Just little things that made us question our choice to eat there. Not sure if we would go back probably not. I see there are other reviews that are great so hopefully it was just an off night, but for us, first impressions are key.
This restaurant closed in mid-June, ostensibly due to unsustainable operating costs. Just check their website (which is a Facebook page, linked above). The owners have told me, personally, that they have no intention of re-opening and that their back of the house staff is transferring to a new restaurant to be opened by a relative at some unspecified date.
Once inside the restaurant, the atmosphere is very pleasant. Friendly server, and love the descriptive iPad ordering. No rush, we could order in courses. Food presentation was good and tastes great. Overall, my husband and I were both very satisfied!
