Abes Hot Dogs is a true American treasure! The atmosphere is just as it should be and the owner commands his place with humor and efficiency. He and his employees feel like home. The hot dogs, the hot dogs... They are spectacularly filled with beef and onions! You are a taste you desire and dream! I started coming with my legal father for decades ago when we visited the city. I took my family here today for a trip down memory lane and a taste of Americana will not soon forget them! Thanks again for spectacular food and hospitality!
My father in law Bobby Tluczek had been coming here his whole life. I always had to hear how good the hot dogs were. I was able to get here and had my first meal in 2000. I was able to return this week and headed straight here. Great Hot Dogs with chili sauce. The best! So good. Of course everyone in WB already knows this. Taking a dozen home to California for all my PA transplants.
My dad took me to Abe 's for lunch back in the late 40 's when they were two for a quarter. We 've been going there ever since. Gary and Scott are doing a great job keeping up the family tradition. We highly recommend the one and only ...oh yeah and don 't forget to take a few home .
Abe's is a great classic style diner with delicious, reasonably priced fare. I'm so glad I discovered this place after moving to the Wilkes-Barre area! I visit regularly and have brought visiting family with me and we agree that Abe's is a wonderful place to eat!!

Great hot dog shop, the food is really good and it kind of gives you the impression of going back in time...I plan on visiting it again, it was the first time that I have gone there but, it was very cute an cozy plus the hot dogs are REALLY GOOD..
As a man of substantial wealth I can still appreciate when something simple is done right. And these guys do it perfect. I would pay much much more than what they charge. Keep up the good work.
