The cook did not kid with us, this restaurant is a soba restaurant, where soba noodles are at the centre of the dish. We had the tempura soba noodles soup and the duck soba noodles soup. Both were very good, tempuras were thin and light, just as we like them. The soup was tasty and not too salty. And there were lots of soba noodles, lots..... don't be mistaken here, the noodles are dominant and you need to like noodles. Otherwise you might think that the meat, the tempuras are too scarce. Went with my mother for a casual lunch. I had the duck and leek soba, a real treat the noodles weren’t soggy, the duck was cooked just fine and the broth was light yet tasty. My mother chose a healthier version, soba noodles with fresh tomato sauce, and she confirmed it was really tasty even though she’s not a noodle person (but she loves tomatoes). She enjoyed some grilled tea and the teapot was kindly refilled with hot water while I had (devoured actually) a delicious matcha flavoured cream. Plates and cups are beautiful by the way, the entire place gives off the vide of an authentic Japanese eatery.

We arrived at 19.00 to avoid the queue, and we did! Food is very good, fresh and very tasty. Slightly too much noisy, and uncomfortable seats but everything else was great. PS: if you have trouble guessing if noodles goes into soup or vice versa, I guess you can just ask the waiters, instead of having them correct us way too late

Best noodles I’ve ever had. It’s a popular place with locals. Staff was super friendly but did not speak much English. Google translate helped us navigate the menu. Highly recommend the cold noodles in sesame oil.
