The food at this cozy BYO restaurant is fantastic and has an authentic taste that is a refreshing change from the usual Thai restaurant offerings in Australia. All of the pastes are homemade and they are able to adjust the heat level of the dishes to your preference. The soups, curries, and salads are all delicious, but we especially enjoyed the choo chee barramundi. The homemade coconut ice cream and mango sticky rice are also a treat. We have visited this restaurant twice already and plan on returning to try more of their dishes. The staff is friendly and welcoming, adding to the authentic experience.
My wife saw this restaurant on Google as we drove down to the Gold Coast from Brisbane and we decided to give it a go. The place is small and was busy when we arrived but the staff had us quickly seated and it wasn’t long before we ordered and the food arrived. Everything was delicious and nicely presented. Having been caught out by ratings before it was nice to see that the high marks were well deserved. I’ll definitely be going back to try other dishes.
It was sooo good! I ordered the cashew chicken and couldn't stop eating it despite the fact I was so full. The service was amazing. Great place to go for a casual evening out. We took a long walk there with our dog and they brought her a little water bowl; it was so considerate. The portions were huge. You can choose to order your stir fry with rice or extra vegetables, which is really great if you want a healthier option. Go check it out! :
We had the best Thai food we've ever tasted in Gold Coast at this restaurant. I ordered the Garlic and Pepper Stir Fry with Rice and it was incredibly delicious and clearly homemade. The staff were very friendly and interactive. I enjoyed my experience so much that I decided to visit again during my stay. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone in the area.

I dont know why the rating is pretty low. Honestly, the food is not bad and i really like the customer service. I think the one that serve us is the boss and he is really kind and respect their customer. <br/ <br/ I really like the fried rice as well and the tomyum soup. Eventhough the mushroom is not that cooked, but still i love it. <br/ <br/ Thank you.
Big Call is possibly the best Thai restaurant I have ever visited. The food is very authentic and the fact that they do not use MSG is a huge plus, especially for Asian cuisine. I ended up dining here every night during my week-long business trip.
Amazing food and many options available. Staff always friendly and understanding, no long waits for the food to get ready even if they are busy and the quality is just outstanding. Their coconut rice and green curry are the best!
A small outlet in Southport with authentic Thai taste. The barramundi was a delight as was the custard sticky rice. Reasonable pricing and friendly owner . Will be back to try other dishes
