I went for the oysters, because I had heard so much about them. I ordered both fried and chargrilled oysters. They were just ok... lots of butter and lacking in flavor.I would caution anyone dining here to check your bill carefully. Our server included a 20% tip to our bill and claimed it's automatic for parties of 5 or more. However, the menu clearly states in bold letters that the tip is automatic for parties of 6 or more. There were 5 people in our party. When I called it to his attention, he immediately corrected the bill and removed the tip. I normally give a minumum 20% tip when dining out, so it wasn't a big deal, but the problem I had was the fact that he was not honest from the onse...

Hostess and bartender were friendly and efficient. I ordered the fish and oyster platter and unsweetened tea. The slaw was good. The fish was okay but not to my liking. The oysters were burnt, greasy and the crust was falling off. I don’t send food backso I ate what I wanted and left the oysters and one fish. The bartender, I sat at the bar, asked if I wanted a to go and I saidno and explained why. She offered to ask the manager for a discount. Looks like I received a 25% discount but ticket doesn’texactly reflect what I ordered or received. The manager never bothered to come view my plate or apologize.

I usually come here for the chargrilled oysters which has me in a chokehold lol. In other words, its delicious. Definitely not better than the acme in new Orleans, however, i can settle for this. Have tried their boudin egg rolls which were good. Their gumbo isn't that good as it taste like its from a can. The red beans and rice with sausage was ok. I wouldn't get it again though. And the fried catfish was good, perfectly fried. The boom boom shrimp were good although i though the shrimp were bigger. But that's fine, still was appetizing.

First time coming here. I was excited there was a location in Houston since I missed it in New Orleans. I tried the chagrilled oysters. I thought it was kind of salty. Nothing memorable. My entree was the New Orleans medley. It contained gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice and grilled smoked sausage. On paper it sounds great but in reality it was just average. I’ve been to New Orleans so I was kind of hoping for the same flavor and quality. Service was okay. Overall it was a very mid experience. About a 2.5/5. Book a table now

This is a nice relaxed place. The grilled oysters are a must have, but still a little different from their Louisiana location- though they are still very good. Fried alligator was well seasoned. Actually, one thing you will notice about this place is thatall food is well seasoned. The food also comes out very fast and very hot! It's worth mentioning that the majority of menu itemshere are fried. Definitely not a deal breaker, you just have to be in the mood for it. Go give it a try!

Went in for a job interview. Hopefully I get the job. Upon walking in I was asked if I had been helped. The establishment was clean. The environment was welcoming. There is lots of room and tables for guest. Didn't get the opportunity to try any menu item's. Hopefully next time.
