Tabel serves had to wave my hand around to get attention from someone. The chef didn't have the heat light on for the food that was sitting waiting to go out for a long time. Maybe why food was cold. Also waiting and hour and half for mains was joke. Absolutely outstanding in every way! The service was fabulous with a waiter that had the best sense of humour! He was attentive, engaging, and professional, as were all other staff members that we had the pleasure of meeting. Our seafood platters for 4 were beautifully presented, with a generous amount of various seafoods both fresh and cooked. Such a delicious main meal and a dessert to match, with the panacotta AMAZING! Last night, I attended a birthday party at Acqua with a group of friends, and I must say the service was exceptional. The staff was very attentive, consistently refilling our water and checking if we needed anything else without being intrusive. When we arrived, the place was packed. Unfortunately, the food was somewhat disappointing considering the price we paid. The scallop and smoked salmon appetizer looked appealing, but the salmon tasted like it came from the supermarket, simply rolled up and topped with Japanese mayonnaise. Service was so disappointing, raved on about this restaurant to friends from NZ who were visiting after experiencing a lovely lunch about a year ago. But it was such an unpleasant experience. One of us only got our meal (chili prawns linguini after everyone else had finished their meal. Asked waitress twice and all she said it was coming, did not apologise once. Asked for a Tanqereay Gin (at $13 a pop with muddled lime and soda water and the soda water was flat and lime just thrown in. Omgosh you must go to this restaurant, it ticks all the boxes. The staff were very friendly, the location on the water is perfect, the restaurant was busy but the staff still looked after us well. The food was divine servings were large, great to see! Considering the quality of everything at the restaurant, I thought I got value for my money, I’m coming back
we visited acqua on Friday night for dinner. it was busy, but the staff was very attentive. we haven't waited long for our meal. our wine glasses were always full. Eat was amazing! we had uttered and then the steak and it was phenomenal, but $56 for a steak was a little expensive, but it is not worth cooking yourself!
The service was impeccable, and the food was flawless. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Regarding dietary restrictions, the staff was more than willing to modify menu items to accommodate food allergies, making the whole experience smooth and hassle-free.
Had the best meal in a really long time. They were able to make the martini i wanted and it was perfect. Our entree was faultless and our mains were also delicious. Will definitely be back next time we are in town. And the staff gave 5 star service.
