The food at Adagio’s Steakhouse has made a new addition to my favourite steak and ribs restaurant in Sydney. The restaurant has huge selections of menu and warm atmosphere makes it one of Sydney’s best kept secret located near the banks of the Georges River at Georges Hall, just west of Bankstown. Our foodie group has driven from eastern subs to try their steak and ribs in Sydney and the one hour road trip was worth it!
Our favourites were definitely the pork ribs and the beef ribs. These succulent and literally “fall of the bones” flame grilled ribs are the highlights of the visit. We were there for a Sunday lunch and the place was packed with people walking in and out all afternoon....
Hate this place. If you're looking to eat below average food and get spoken to like a special needs person by management, then you've found the place. Me and my friends thought we would try this place out having already eaten at the Thai restaurant next door (which is absolutely amazing x100). However, this turned out to be like a horror scene on Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. As the night went on we ordered drinks and waited patiently for our food until we were abruptly approached by a man, which I'm guessing was management, telling us that they are not a fast food chain and not to expect the food to come out within a matter of moments after ordering. We went here last night myself and a few friends. We ordered the marinara pasta and the flame grilled burger, the service was below average. The food took well and truly longer than it should, however we were patient and raised no issues with management. The issue that tainted the whole experience(apart from the average food), was when the manager/owner approached us and had a go at us when he could tell we were getting impatient(40 minutes for food) rather than asking if we wanted more drinks or letting us know it won't be far away, he ripped into us and kept repeating "this is a gourmet steakhouse not a fast food joint" treating us like idiots. Pretentious joint.
The owner so up himself yet serves 'baked salmon'? With a thousand island dressing you find on a Big Mac. The salmon was dry.
I ordered the haloumi stack with no mushroom or olive oil drizzle. I'm glad he left out the mushroom but the amount of olive oil on there was dumb especially when he handed it over to me he said salad with no dressing.
Even my little sister thought the salty seasoning on the hot chips with her chicken snitz was too much.
Plus why is the lamb cheaper than the steaks? The cuts of steak you serve as well as the size can be found for much cheaper than what you guys sell them for.

We had dinner at Adagios on Saturday night. I had one of the best steaks I've ever had and my wife had one of their vegan dishes with a couple of sides. The kids were more than satisfied with the kids menu. We had a terrific family dinner. The meals were 1st class, the service was great and the prices were very reasonable. It was also a treat to eat just metres away from the river and there was heaps of free parking. We will definitely be back.
