There's a commonality among restaurants like this, where you can find a lot of similar items across various chains, and Adanberto's is no exception. I'm a fan of another Southern California chain called Los Jilberto's (which I believe I’ve reviewed here), and I can confirm that their rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese enchilada plate are identical to those served at Adanberto's. I also enjoy California Burritos, and while the one here is good, it’s not my favorite. I always request extra cheese, but I often don’t receive enough, which is why I’ve stopped ordering that item. On the bright side, their Flying Saucer is a delightful treat, and staples like the rolled tacos with guacamole ne...

This used to be my favorite spot for chicken tacos, but something has changed regarding quality. The new taco shells taste like cardboard and seem pre-made. They're much smaller now, with barely any lettuce or cheese. It's such a disappointment. The steak salad has also shifted; last week, I received wilted, old lettuce, and today, there was no cheese. I've been coming here for years, but now I’ll need to find a new place for my quick taco fix. I’m not sure if it’s due to a new cook or the $20 per hour pay for workers, but the prices have already gone up significantly because of the COVID situation. While I understood the need for a price increase, I expected the quality to remain the same....

Everything she serves is exceptional, but I'm particularly obsessed with her Fish Tacos. While they feature fried fish, salad, tomatoes, and cilantro, it's the unique tartar sauce that elevates these tacos to another level. I also love her steak chimichangas for when I'm really hungry and feel confident I can finish one. The only downside is that occasionally the drive-thru staff have limited English proficiency, which can lead to communication issues. Still, we manage to navigate it together successfully. The team is fantastic, and the food is consistently great!

I tried to submit a review when I found out this place was listed as an Adalberto 's. It probably was at some point, and they just stuck an N on the sign rather than buy a new sign. Anyway--this is better, by a lot. I stopped here before I knew there was a chain with the other name. The food is better, the staff are nice and the line (drive through--COVID. . . moves fast. Their Machaca burritos are as good as I used to get in San Diego. Again, it 's a taco stand, so you 're here for the food, not for mariachis! Book a table now

This morning, I was craving a breakfast machaca burrito from Aldanberto's. It's been a while since we last visited the restaurant. We did notice that the prices have gone up a bit, which is understandable considering the current economic situation and the inflation we're all experiencing. However, the burrito did not disappoint; it was delicious! My husband and I shared one, with me having a third and him taking two-thirds, which was more than enough. The size of the burrito is great!

Tonight's service and food was very good. Adalbertos isn't the best food, but a super burrito is good value and saves me the hassle of making dinner/lunch for two or three meals. And if all the other junk food places have lines with 5+ cars, but Adalbertos doesn't have any cars in line, it's a no brainer. Super easy in and out drive through is also good.

The location really matters. It's odd how a family feud led to these separate restaurants, yet they offer the same menu with seemingly different outcomes. The rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese are simply MUCH better at the one on Madison and Dewey! Who would have guessed?

Service was awful this morning. Ordered a breakfast plate (should cost no more than $9) and the cashier tried to charge me over $13 saying the prices are different from what's shown on the menu. Makes no sense and she didn't even give me the receipt. Book a table now

This restaurant offers great value for money and provides unlimited chips, which is a real bonus. It's not the best choice for health-conscious diners, but it's a solid option when you need something quick and filling.
