There were six of us who came to Adalina on a Thursday night. None of us had been previously. The decor was nice, but the lighting needed to be dimmed; it seemed odd to be so bright. There were only 4 or 5 other tables during our visit, with others at the bar or sitting outside. For the number of people in the restaurant, it seemed pretty loud. Some soundproofing would have been nice, as it was difficult to hear down the table occasionally. Our server was wonderful. He recommended a few starters for the table that we all thoroughly enjoyed. We all ordered our own mains (some of them could have easily been split) and passed them around. The pasta tasted fresh and the halibut was my favorite....
The decor is very cold, not cozy. I am not sure if they were going for a beach theme. I would recommend a table cloth and warmer colors. The food was good. I had the seafood pasta which had a nice rich tomato sauce. The burrata salad was very good. We order the artisan bread basket for $6 and it had mainly thin bread and some bread sticks. There was nothing artisan about it for the price. The wine list was limited and we found it difficult to find a cabinet we liked. I think with a few changes, this restaurant can be successful.
Excellent italian food, service and ambient. We ordered fried artichokes and peach salad as appetizer, prosciutto pizza and halibut as main dishes. All were excellent. Lemon almond cake was very good and paired very nicely with the raspberry icecream. It's located in a mixed use neighborhood away from main road. But this is absolutely a local gem to be discovered.
The food was delicious but the server was inattentive and very slow. He seemed to forget about us all together after the entre was served. I like the location and the outdoor seating option was nice.
