If you have time on your hands, the little town of Pourville sur mer is worth the visit not far away from the main town of Dieppe. It really only boasts a main through road, nevertheless there is an amazing assortment of really fancy homes...and quirky shops. There is a large car park and a lovely promenade between the cliffs. Opposite the car park is Adele's. This is a MUST stop.... if only for a coffee and pastry. i indulged in quite a few of these, together with freshly baked bread. Delicious ! The restaurant is not expensive and offers a french' range of meals. Also delicious. Take an hour or two to wander around. Well worth the visit with a viewsite up on the clifftop road which descend...

Driving round Northern France we realised we had left it too late to have lunch. In fact one restaurant took great pleasure in telling us they had stopped serving. So we went into Adele which is actually a bakery (but also a brasserie). However they...too had finished serving food, but then they took pity on us and offered a goats cheese pizza. It was delicious and went down beautifully with the teas we chose from an amazing range. Thank you Adele, we are forever in your debt and I would lay odds that had we arrived while the kitchen was still open we would now be writing an even more enthusiastic review.

.. when hardly anyone is about, it's lovely to sit down to a slice of perfectly baked apple tart. The lattice top glazed, the filling- pastry ratio is just right, and the flavours.... my oh my. Sitting facing the seafront watching the clouds rush by...and sipping coffee with my cake, there's a lot to be said to visit this place out of season. Do try ! And, and their breadstick is also fenomenal....

Purchased bread and pastries here most days and also ate lunch here where they offer a good selection of food and nice wood fired pizza's. Overall good value for money and nice friendly service, would thoroughly recommend if visiting the resort as better than seafront...options.
