Adeney Milkbar Cafe

We were visiting Melbourne from NSW and were staying out in Kew, Adeney happened to be quite close, so we decided that it was where we were going for breakfast. We trotted down along with our puppy and ordered some coffees while we perused the menu. From my experience, it seems incredibly dog friendly. And especially on a sunday, you can meet lots of friendly snoots. The coffee was great! Couldn't fault it whatsoever. We have become regulars here as a loved one is in hospital close by.The food is fresh, simple and delicious home style, the portions are generous.Love the coffee, nice and strong and not a hint of bitterness.The staff are young and friendly.One problem....... I'd love a cake after my lunch but they are uncovered just near the entrance and the register. It is really quite unhygienic !!

I had an avocado toast for breakfast and plain croissant for my son. Both are so nice with reasonable price. The place is so squeezy though. The staffs are nice and attentive. Coffee is great too but dont come during weekend, it would be a dissaster! So packed! We have no luck when we came the second time

This cafe continues to be a great venue for a quick coffee, a snack or maybe something more substantial. It does get busy though!

Cool place to catch up for breakfast with friends. Great coffee,good variety of breakfast option, excellent location.
