If you are looking for authentic South Indian dosa, this is not the place to go. The dosa here is thick, filling, and more reminiscent of pancakes from a low-quality Australian restaurant than the thin, crispy, buttery ones I have enjoyed in South India, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and other Australian cities. The coconut chutney and sambar that came with the dosa were lacking in flavor and spices, unlike the delicious and spicy versions found in traditional South Indian restaurants. The three dosas served on a plate were unappealing and too heavy for a lunch meal. Just one crispy dosa would have satisfied.
We had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. The food was delicious and reminded me of the authentic flavors I had experienced while traveling in Southern India. The perfect blend of spices made the dishes truly memorable. We will definitely be returning for another visit!
Not all our party like Indian food so it was a delight when we saw that they also served a regular menu and the prices were excellent. We had the lunch special of Fish and Chips and a drink for $7.50.They also offer Devonshire Tea.
This restaurant is a hidden treasure! They serve authentic South Indian cuisine that is absolutely delicious. The Marsala Dosa and the Chai are both incredibly tasty. The staff is friendly and the location is excellent.
